Reviews for your hotel

Booking a holiday to a place you have never been before can be daunting as you may not know what to expect and often people book a hotel on the advice they have been given by a tour operator or by reading reviews on the hotel’s website.

I would strongly advise doing some of your own research prior to booking a hotel as you may well find contradicting reviews on third party sites such as Trip advisor or Booking.com. If you are booking a hotel in advance then always check that there are no events going on that may affect your stay, such as a big football match or other sporting events that could mean the hotel is booked to a higher capacity than usually and that noise levels may be higher.

When reading reviews, try to read as many as possible to try and get a true overview of what the accommodation is really like.
