A trip up Mount Everest

Have you ever considered taking on the tallest mountain in the world? Well now you can although it does come with a hefty price tag. Mount Everest is in Mahalangur mountain range in Nepal and stands 29,029 feet above sea level. It has up until recently, only been climbed by a handful of people but with companies now organising climbs to the top, members of the public can book a holiday with a difference.

If you like extreme sports and are an experienced climber then this could be the challenge for you. However this trip is not for the faint hearted. The climb alone can cost in the region of sixty five thousand dollars and can take a number of days to complete.

On your accent you will find camps set up where you may stop overnight of if the weather is bad, to allow you some time to rest until it is safe to continue. You will need to be equipped with oxygen tanks as the air towards the top is so thin you will find it very hard to breathe.

This trip is a dangerous one and should only be taken by those who are physically fit and understand all of the risks involved.
